We're diving right in!! Because when it comes to telling yourself nice things, why not jump in with both feet? In this exercise, think of yourself as the sun, and all of the amazing things about you as being the bright, shiny rays of light that shine on the people around you. Feel like a bit much? Bear with me...
Start by drawing your own sun or by downloading, printing, and pasting this into your sketchbook:
Once that's all set, start thinking of all the good things that make you who you are. If you can't think of any, ask a friend. Getting input from people who love you can be a GREAT way to kick off positive self-talk and it is 100% ALWAYS ok to ask for help. Once you've got the ball rolling, though, definitely try to come up with some on your own. The more you can get into the habit of identifying good things about yourself, the more you'll be able to actually SEE all of the great things that you are without having to work at it.
