finding Your Brand Voice
Imagine being able to talk about what you do… and it just lands.
Not just because you found the “right words”, but because you feel so clear in who you are and what you do that the words just come out naturally.
No overthinking.
No “It’s kind of like…” or “It’s hard to explain, but…”
You just… say it.
And people get it.
And it actually feels like you.
Because the truth is — you already know your work matters.
But, maybe, somewhere in the middle of trying to explain it all… the words just get lost. And you can feel that what you’re really trying to say is still sitting just out of reach.
Finding Your Brand Voice isn’t about starting over from scratch.
It’s about learning how to see what’s already there more clearly than you’ve been able to see it before.
So that when someone asks what you do, you don’t have to search for the answer…
You can just say it. Because you know.
Finding Your Brand Voice is where clarity gets to come into focus. In this compact series of conversations, we’ll take everything that’s been living in your head — all the ideas, the layers, the ways you think about your work and what’s getting the way of talking about it — and gently move things around and focus them into something you can actually see and hold onto.
My first job in this process is to listen.
And then it’s to reflect your bigger picture back to you, in a way you likely haven’t been able to see clearly on your own.

The structure is simple:
-
We’ll meet for 3 1-hour Identity Coaching conversations
-
Each one will build on the last as we explore your brand and your work more deeply
-
We’ll sort through your ideas, your perspective, your hopes and the limitations you think are in the way
-
I listen, reflect, and ask really good questions that help me to start to connecting the threads
-
After those 3 calls, I’ll take everything I’ve learned and translate it into a Brand Messaging & Positioning Document that will be an unbelievable game changer for your brand and your business.
What's inside of that Brand Messaging and Positioning Document is anything but simple and it IS your bigger picture.
This document gets to be the central place you come to every time you have to make a decision for your business. Updating your website, structuring your services, making sales, all of it starts with what lives in this document. Imagine how much easier your life would be if:
Marketing gets to be easier because you're not constantly searching for the right words or starting from scratch
Networking feels like a breeze because you know how to talk about what you do, and how what you do connects with the people you're talking to
Meeting people and making sales actually feels easy and fun because you're not stuck reciting the same boring script every time
Growth happens naturally because you're not flying by the seat of your pants, you're moving from a place of deep understanding with a real, tangible plan
Social media doesn't feel like shouting into the void, anymore, because you know how your brand fits into each platform
Finding your brand voice is as much about finding the right words to use and structuring all the details, as it is about
identifying the deeper thread that ties everything you do together in a way your audience can understand and get excited about

The Outcome of Finding Your Brand Voice:
Clients who go through this process feel a balance of excited and relieved.
Excited because they finally know how to talk about what they do
Relieved because the buzzing of chaotic ideas in their brain has settled down
They feel seen and understood because they finally know the words that capture the heart of their work
And they are able to communicate and sell with the kind of confidence and clarity that comes from knowing what all their business-puzzle-pieces are and how they fit together
This is usually the right step when…
There’s just something getting in the way of things feeling simple. Honestly, you don’t need more ideas. You’re brilliant and creative and you have the ideas. But you do get to ask for help making sense of it all.
Do any of these feel familiar?:
-
You’ve grown or evolved, but the way you talk about your work hasn’t quite caught up yet.
-
You know what you do, but the deeper or behind it feels harder to explain.
-
You’ve tried writing your website or introducing your work and the words end up sounding either too vague, too complicated, or just… not like you.
-
You find yourself saying things like: “I know what I do… I just can’t seem to explain it” or “Every time someone asks what I do, I feel like I start rambling”.
-
You feel like you’re circling the thing you actually do, but you can’t quite land on it.
examples of this work:
Lisa B.
Read Lisa's Brand Messaging & Positioning Guide
Lisa had been operating for several years as if her business was more like a hobby than a movement that could actually make her money. Her passion for the work ran deep, but her energy was running thin. Finding Your Brand Voice was the catalyst for a huge shift in how she operated and gave her the clarity to make real moves forward. Before this work, she was running a podcast where she focused almost exclusively on the expertise and visibility of others, she occasionally spoke to a niche group, and she had a small handful of occasional 1-on-1 clients. Read through her brand messaging and positioning to see how in-depth and how rooted her transformation was.
Shandi H.
Read Shandi's Brand Messaging & Positioning Guide
Shandi was ready to make big moves. She was finally free of a contentious divorce and needed to start making big strides in her business to generate income and get back that ability to really believe in herself. The goal of her brand messaging and positioning document was to give her the words to talk about what she does, to build structure around how her work happens, to create simple ways for different types of moms to see themselves in her marketing, and to create a shortcut between where she was (just a small handful of clients, not enough to make ends meet) and where she wanted to be (visible, helping moms, and making money doing something she loves and feels called to).
You don’t have to become someone new to feel clear, you need tools that can help you see yourself fully.
And once you have them, you can actually use them — easily, consistently, and without second-guessing yourself anymore.
