TESTIMONIAL

"I can't really express how much I love all of this. The LM layered on the chrysanthemum is my love language.  And, all of it is so beautiful. I had tears in my eyes looking at all the content you created. I feel so supported. I can't wait to start implementing all of this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!"

Identity & Design for Company/Organization Brands

The Access to Memory Foundation came to me with a problem to solve. They had previously relied on a service provider for all of their technical support and, as a byproduct of that, it looked like their open-source software actually belonged to that service provider. They needed a brand that not only set a clear line between the software and the service provider, but that made it clear that they (the governing body) also did not 'own' the software. Dedicated stewards of, but not owners of, the best archival software around.

When Spicy Water Distillery and I had our first call, the company owner said he wanted a vibe that felt like "steampunk beach"... which is not a thing. What I uncovered through conversation was that they wanted a balance of fun, edgy, community, and adventure. We started with a tagline "Adventure is Local" and expanded from there. When you look through their brand guide, you'll see that not only is the flame in the shot glass a play on "spicy water", it's also the foundation for the color coding of the different types of alcohol they produce. Flashy AND practical.

GoExpo is a national trade-show booth company. They design, ship, build, and construct trade show booths. A whole soup-to-nuts sort of business. And this has to be one of my favorite color-inspiration stories. Because in that line of work, there are several competitors who OWN colors. When you see a shipping crate with purple markings, you know who's trade show booth stuff is in there, from a mile away. So along with a whole host of other fun challenges, we managed to put a big stamp on the color pink, reserving it for GoExpo. And the gradient from pink to oxblood red is just the perfect representation of the depth, warmth, and vibrancy of the whole GoExpo team.

"Just another note to say... WOW! I'm just going through the website mock-up right now and that is truly powerful stuff. You are extremely gifted, what a talent for both visual translation of ideas and distilling meaning and clarity. THANK YOU AGAIN!"

Identity & Design for Founder-Led/Personal Brands

Alex Carleton is an executive leadership coach who believes in listening as a powerful and profound mechanism to lead. She has come to me through a couple of evolutions of her brand and every time she has managed to shed all kinds of excess baggage that she didn't need anymore. Yes this is a visual brand update, AND it's each rebrand has been a beautiful example of personal and professional growth. Alex didn't need to convince more clients to hire her, she was full-up already. What she needed was a brand that allowed her the space to breathe (and maybe even to dance) as she continues to grow.

Maura Navin is an incredibly brilliant human with a boundless love for business owners and how they express themselves. When we embarked on this rebrand journey, she was known as LillaBlu and had mostly focused on social media marketing strategy. But she wanted to do, and be, more. So I built her a personal brand that lent her the flexibility to grow and move and be anything she wanted. This umbrella of a personal brand contains a literal formula so that she can create new sub-brands any time she wants AND stay on track and consistent in the brand.

TESTIMONIAL

"First, I love how the brand feels so me. You captured the core of who I am in a way that feels aligned and confident, like I can fully show up without second-guessing. Second, I love the expression it gives me. It’s not just the everyday version of me, it’s the aspirational version. The fun, vibrant, magnetic version I didn’t know how to articulate on my own, but now get to embody. That’s been such a gift."
